ABOUT
Frankie Estrada is an innovator, trailblazer, and vibrant designer from the Northside of Houston, Texas.
From creating masks at the height of COVID to having her designs strut down the runway at Miami Swim Week, she has always been a hustler. Initially self-taught, she dedicated many sleepless nights to elevating her garment craftsmanship.
Juggling jobs in retail, costuming, and design, fashion ran through Frankie’s core. To advance her skills, she added taking design classes to her endless list of tasks. With the pandemic taking her from working three jobs to zero, she knew it was time to embark on the journey of chasing her true passion.
The visionary set out to create a collection that elevated her cultura and empowered women to radiate beauty from the inside. She wanted pieces that encouraged people to find strength in their uniqueness. Spicy Mujer was born.
Inspired by her Chicana identity juxtaposed with the eccentricity of Harajuku Street Style, the brand doesn’t follow trends. It forecasts them & sets the tone.
From using recycled denim to embracing unconventional colors, Frankie is constantly working to level up her designs for people who dare to be different. Her current collection is just a taste of what’s to come.
Spicy uplifts strong women who live limitlessly and unapologetically with a stylish flair. The brand is a story of evolving from caterpillar to “mariposa,” driven by a journey of self-love to inspire other women to own their power.
